Liam has lived at St David's Square since 2019 and has served as Chair of the St David's Square Residents' Association since 2025.

He believes that the people who fund the management of the estate through their service charges should have a meaningful say in how it is managed. He sees Right to Manage as an opportunity to bring greater transparency, accountability and resident involvement to the future management of St David's Square.

Liam is a commercial litigation solicitor based in the City of London. Since 2021, he has led the Residents' Association's legal challenges to service charges before the First-tier Tribunal, the Upper Tribunal and the Court of Appeal, helping to recover hundreds of thousands of pounds for leaseholders.

He is also a Trustee of the Leasehold Knowledge Partnership, the UK's leading leaseholder charity. Since 2020, Liam has been actively involved in campaigning on leasehold reform, including cladding and fire safety, the transition to commonhold and ground rent reform. He regularly contributes to discussions on these issues in the media and has given evidence to Parliament.

Loula has lived on the Isle of Dogs for over 25 years and brings extensive experience in resident representation, governance and community engagement.

For more than a decade, she served as Chair of her previous residents' association, representing leaseholders on estate management, communal maintenance and service delivery. She worked closely with residents to improve standards, strengthen communication and support community initiatives.

Loula also served as a Non-Executive Director of the housing association responsible for managing the estate, giving her valuable board-level experience in governance, financial oversight, strategic planning and the delivery of residential services.

Since moving to St David's Square, Loula has developed a deep appreciation for its unique riverside setting and strong sense of community. She believes that leaseholders should have greater transparency over how service charge funds are spent and a meaningful voice in decisions affecting the future of the estate.

As a member of the St David's Square Residents' Association Committee since 2025, Loula has played an active role in promoting the Right to Manage campaign through resident engagement, community events, information leaflets and door-to-door conversations.

Loula's ambition is to build on the many strengths of St David's Square by retaining valued estate staff and ensuring that residents have greater oversight of budgets, contracts, maintenance standards and future investment. She believes Right to Manage gives leaseholders the opportunity to make an informed, democratic choice about the future management of their homes.

John brings more than 35 years of experience managing the upkeep, conservation and public use of Grade I listed buildings. Throughout his career, he has been responsible for procuring and managing contracts, prioritising maintenance programmes, ensuring works are completed to a high standard and maintaining strict budgetary control.

He believes this experience is directly relevant to the role of an RTM director, where careful oversight of the managing agent, prudent financial management and delivering value for money on behalf of leaseholders are key responsibilities.

John and his wife, Hermione, moved to St David's Square in early 2023 and have been delighted to become part of its welcoming and diverse community. Having owned leasehold properties previously, they appreciate both the opportunities and challenges of communal living.

John is committed to helping ensure that St David's Square is managed to the highest possible standard, with greater transparency, accountability and value for money. He believes Right to Manage offers residents the opportunity to protect and enhance both the quality of life on the estate and the long-term value of their homes.
